Mr. Nasser A. Abuhaimed

A postgraduate of Master program in Business Administration focusing in Information Technology in 2006 from a McMaster University in Bahrain, received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1996, in Dhahran Saudi Arabia, and a Technical Diploma in Computer Technology in 1990 from University of the Pacific, Stockton California, USA,   Mr. Abuhaimed started his professional career as a network administrator for Saudi Aramco, which is an Oil and Gas Company operating in, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia until 1995. He started his first part time business in 1992, where he co-founded the first ABHGroup company in procurement, where he headed a project of personalized jewelry design and production for school rings and corporate jewelry.

Mr. Abuhaimed left his career to work full time in ABHGroup in 1995, where he handled another operation in contracting and maintenance until 1996 where he started the Information Technology Company for the group.

This company was a first step for Mr. Abuhaimed to start a business development career, where during his experience in this business, he contributed in delivering innovative IT solutions. He was the first to start PC Assembly distribution operation, the first to provide Internet Mail Service using a dialup service, and then the first ISP, where no Internet was available in Saudi Arabia at the time. He was among the first to build a Virtual Satellite Aperture Station, or what is called Very small aperture terminal (VSAT) in Saudi Arabia, where he linked Saudi Arabia to Hong Kong though a Hong Kong based company new developed Telecom, was Hutchison Corporate Access and sister company of PCCW. The link was used to provide Internet to a housing compound and corporates, where they first connected using Dialup, and then upgraded to use WiFi, where solutions like Cisco was used first, then another solution developed by ZCOM China was introduced as replacement.

In 2000, Mr. Abuhaimed, developed another business line for ABHGroup where he introduced the first customs taxation process, a service business provided to Saudi National Manufacturers, where he won cases that saved customers amounts the could reach USD5M claimed from exempted raw materials and spare parts used for their productions. He added the Customs Clearance and Transportation in 2003, and Government Affairs in 2007 to the business line.

In the year 2004, Mr. Abuhaimed decided to resume his education to earn his MBA in Information Technology, where his project was utilizing biometrics as solution to identify vehicles using the RFID advanced technology, and human using Palm Vain Pattern ID, which is considered the highest and the most secured protocols to be used for security application. Mr. Abuhaimed conducted his research in collaboration with 3 of the largest companies in Japan namely; Shimatzu, Toshiba, and Fujisu.  Mr. Abuhaimed received distinctive and honor degree and where his strongest skills was in strategic management

In 2007, Mr. Abuhaimed worked as an ABHGroup Director for Business Development, where he started to plot the strategy and plan for ABHGroup to engage in an International Business Development Operations, where he conducted a business research and analysis. The result of this study showed a strength and compatibility between the long term strategies of both China & Saudi Arabia. This conclusion derived a decision to initiate the ABHGroup operation in Hong Kong and Mainland.

Throughout his career in Business Development, Mr. Abuhaimed is known to master ability to head different projects with dedication and devotions focusing in the critical elements to drive success to any projects, which are to build any decisions based in facts and calculated risks.  He strongly believes that a long term and sustainable business has to grow based on strategic planning combined with the proper assets especially human resources. Under his leadership and vision, his staff learnt a lot from his ability to dynamically address the different challenges that could face the business. His style of developing projects and operations based on integrity and transparency has been as very successful for ABHGroup that earn tremendous respect and support from different stakeholders. His ability and experience in cross cultural communication added another important touch his character to lead this International Business Development Firm.
